About
She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Boğaziçi University, followed by her first master’s degree in Psychological Sciences, also at Boğaziçi University. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she specialized in autobiographical memory, focusing on how individuals remember their past experiences. Her research examined the relationship between autobiographical memory and culture, gender, language, vision, and public events, and her master’s thesis investigated autobiographical memories through the lens of an honour culture. She worked in a research project at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, focusing on involuntary autobiographical memories in bilingual individuals. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Boğaziçi University.

She completed her second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Yeditepe University with a full scholarship. During this period, she conducted psychoanalytic psychotherapy and administered neuropsychological assessments to patients with dementia as part of a research project. Her thesis examined functions of autobiographical remembering and its relation to affective neuroscience personality traits in healthy and pathological aging.​ She has published articles in peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly journals and delivered presentations in national and international conferences.
 
She has completed theoretical and clinical training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and continues to pursue professional development by participating in various supervisions and seminars. She provides psychoanalytic/psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults, both in person and online, at her office in Caddebostan, Kadıköy. Her areas of practice include relational difficulties, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, grief and bereavement, as well as issues related to self-esteem and self-worth. She works in Turkish and English.

She is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association. She also works as a volunteer psychotherapist in support groups for families of patients at the Turkish Alzheimer Association.
